FXF True Frame-By-Frame Film Transfer

The transfer process can never damage your 8mm or super 8 films in any way.

Custom engineered FXF film transfer units have no sprockets that could rip or punish your films

There is no halogen hot lamp, not even a 40 watt globe, our systems use LED that are not even close to the film which means even and safe lighting with no hot spots.

Feature True Frame By Frame capture direct from the film emulsion surface.

There are no mirrors or convex lens.

FXF is not an aerial or multiplex system nor is there a light box.

Film is scanned directly from the film surface using professional or scientific grade scanning heads 1/2" and 3 CCD modules that do not have a video camera lens barrel. Our FXF units are entirely purpose built for the function.

Each frame of film scanned has a corresponding digital video frame, one frame at a time and is captured to the very edge of the film frame so results in a better image quality, which is sharper and offers greater colour rendition and contrast than a typical transfer.
